Camper (Bowdy)

Camper
It’s been almost two weeks since Gaal and I picked up Bowdy from his wonderful, caring foster mom, and he’s taken to his new home very well!

We’ve renamed him Camper, and he treats our apartment like his own little campground – prancing and lounging where he pleases.

Camper is a very eager learner, and he was clicker-trained and sitting for treats within a day! He’s been the perfect addition to our family – we both can’t wait to get home and have him fall asleep sweetly in our laps.

Marla

MARLA

Marla is doing great, both at home and when she goes to work with my wife.

She has been to the dog park and had a fantastic time.

She is a wonderful addition to the family. ~ Jeff

Katie

We were very excited to get Katie and she has adapted very well to our family and brings each and every one of us joy every day. Katie 1
She is a very bright and well socialized dog, she loves playing with all kinds and sizes of dogs at the dog park and is the model student at obedience school where she is often the example dog. We love spoiling, playing with, and training her, and especially cuddling, which she does very well. We couldn’t have been more lucky and wouldn’t be nearly as happy with any other dog. Thank you Wags & Whiskers for allowing us to bring Katie into our lives. Katie 2

Here are some pictures of Katie, I know it’s more than two, but we couldn’t decide they’re all too cute! ~ Meghan

Chloe

At over 5 months now, Chloe follows her sister dog, Bailey, like a little white shadow. Chloe 2
She is a very sweet and kind pup that makes you feel like a million bucks! She has drawn Bailey out, who now plays like a dog, again…the way dogs should play! Chloe is observant and obedient, kennels up easily and automatically when it’s bedtime or if I have to leave for a little while. Chloe 1
Much like our black lab mix that has passed on, Chloe loves cardboard, sticks, treats and squeaky toys! Her and Bailey always play an awesome game of fetch, too!I’m head over heals in love with this sweet pup that does nothing but show so much love, hugs and kisses to me. She’s mindful, inquisitive, observant and intuitive. Quite remarkable for such a young puppy!! She was fortunate to have had awesome foster care and teaching. Her adjustments have not been a trial for anyone, at all. Her only hang up… she does NOT like to ride in a car, yet! Her experience in the snow has been such a stitch!!! I need to remember to bring a camera out with me! You all did good bringing Chloe (Charity) up from Arkansas. ALL her foster care has been remarkable. She’s grown so much since coming into our home and I owe the ease of her transition to the grand care she got from the very beginning. Thank you. ~ Shelley

Miles

Miles is enjoying life and has brought happiness to his new family. Miles 2
He spends most of his time in St. Louis Park, but occasionally spends a long weekend at Grandma and Grandpa’s house on Lake Minnetonka. Miles 1He spent the last month of summer taking boat rides with his forever family and is now loving hopping around in the snow and also spending plenty of time enjoying naps in comfy places around the house. At almost 6 months old, he’s growing fast and excelling in learning all his basic commands at puppy training school. He loves the dog park, playing with the neighborhood dogs and his human kid cousins.

Penny

Just giving you a little update on Penny. She is full grown and absolutely beautiful. :-). She is VERY hyper and loves everyone and everything.  I have her trained except she still likes to jump and get into the garbage. About 6 months ago I adopted another puppy for her to have a companion besides the cats….you’ll see in the picture. Thank you so much for introducing me to Penny and the opportunity to give her a good home.

Paisley (Bella)

We are loving Paisley, formerly Bella.  We had to change her name as it was just too close to our daughters name, Ella. Paisley is adjusting well to her new home.  She loves playing in the back yard tossing her toys around and chasing after them. Our daughters are lovin’ her up, they like to throw toys for her to catch, especially balls. She is a great puppy and will be an even better dog as she grows and matures!  She’s the perfect addition to our family!

Scuttle

Here are a couple pictures of Luna (aka Scuttle).  Sometimes when we are eating supper she will sit on one of the chairs and join us. It is so cute to see her peer over the top of the table at me. She also enjoys looking out the window, and chasing a laser pointer.
Thanks again for helping us find such a wonderful cat.
Iris

I wanted to email you an update on Iris (now Gemma).  She is a happy, healthy little lady who has brightened my world.  Gemma is such a loving girl.  At first she hated going outside, who could blame her because it was freezing out.  As the weather has been warming up we have been going on lots of walks and playing ball outside. Gemma recently started puppy school and is doing great, she has learned to sit, lay down,no jumping and stay.
She does great with kids of all ages and other dogs. She has had quite a few puppy play dates and loves them! Most days she is my shadow, wherever I am in the house she follows.  My life is so much brighter with her, she brings everyone she meets so much joy and happiness.
